BYD Atto 2 Electric SUV India Launch
China’s leading EV manufacturer BYD is expanding its electric vehicle portfolio in India. After introducing models like Atto 3, Seal, eMax 7, and Sealion, the company is now testing its upcoming BYD Atto 2 Electric SUV on Indian roads. The car has already been spotted during test runs, raising excitement among EV enthusiasts.
BYD Atto 2 Expected Price in India
The BYD Atto 2 is already available in the UK market. For India, minor changes in features and setup are expected. According to industry reports, the price could start around ₹18 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, the Atto 2 will directly compete with the Hyundai Creta Electric in the mid-size electric SUV segment.
Battery & Performance
The India-spec BYD Atto 2 may feature a 45 kWh BYD Blade Battery Pack, delivering up to 463 km range (WLTP claimed) on a single charge. It will come with a FWD motor producing 174 bhp and 290 Nm torque, enabling the SUV to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds with a top speed of 160 km/h.
